MOTHER COURAGE

The Martin Beck Theatre 1963

Richard Bradford (or Dick Bradford as he was then billed) played a Catholic Sergeant and the 'third soldier' in this production. Anne Bancroft played the lead. Gene Wilder also featured in the cast.

Richard played Beefy Bradford, Vaudeville Acrobat, John Forbes' Henchman and also featured in crowd scenes.
Ralph Waite of 'The Waltons' fame was a cast member.

The Anta Theatre 1964.

Richard played the Rev Phillips, The State and also understudied the character Parnell.
Rip Torn was in the cast. The play was directed by Burgess Meredith.

Richard returned to the stage for a one night only performance in 'Beck', On May 21st 2003, at the Occidental Studios, Hollywood. He took the role of The Governor of California. It was produced by the Drama Garage Group and directed by Judy Geeson (Man in a Suitcase episode 'Sweet Sue')
